UL94 V-0 Test Requirements

1. The specimen shall not burn for more than 10 seconds after the test flame is applied.

2. The total flame burn time of 10 flame applications for each set of 5 specimens shall not exceed 50 seconds.

3. The sample can not be burned to the retaining clip. 4. The specimen shall not drip burning particles capable of igniting the dry absorbent surgical cotton 300 mm below the specimen. After the second removal of the test flame, the specimen shall not have incandescent burning for more than 30 seconds.

   
   

UL94 V-1 Test Requirements 

1. The sample shall not burn for more than 30 seconds after the test flame is applied.

2. The total flame burn time for 10 applications of flame for each set of 5 specimens shall not exceed 250 seconds.

3. The sample may not burn into the clamp.

4. The specimen shall not drip flaming particles capable of igniting the dry absorbent surgical cotton 300 mm below the specimen.

5. After the second removal of the test flame, the specimen shall not have incandescent combustion for more than 60 seconds.
